I have had a bit of drama......admitted to hospital on Sunday evening with a ruptured appendix. Lots of pain, lots of morphine, lots of antibiotics, five days later and I am home again. I'm still very sore and get tired very easily but it is good to be home, even if the Mr isn't so punctual with the tea trolley as the lovely staff at Harrogate General Hospital.
The nursing care I have received has been superb and I am grateful to live near such a splendid hospital.
I have to rest up for a couple of weeks - just after returning to work, too. Oh well....at least I will get to see Wimbledon!

ReplyDeleteNo no noooooo! This is not good! You poor duck. I'm glad you are out the other side now though. Ruptured ap's are not funny. You must have been in agony. Morphine's great though hey? Honestly it's lucky I am a "good Girl" as I love pharmaceutical highs!!!! I'd be a junkie if I was even a little wayward. I over enjoyed the gas and air when having my babies. And I was best mate with my morphine pump when I was in hospital several years ago. 'Ark at me!!!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon.
